As some of you may be aware, I am a huge fan of all things country. Honestly I have no idea where the obsession came from, but these days it’s rare to see me without at least one bit of RM Williams clothing on. So as you can imagine, I was extremely excited the day the call came for me to shot Queensland’s biggest show, the Ekka.
Spending just over 5 long, long days at the show, myself with the help of some good friends, captured some awesome content. From photos of cute animals, to videos of fireworks and POV’s of rides, we got it all. All of that, teamed with some classic AudioJungle tracks, made for some pretty epic highlight videos.
Although we were challenged by flying wood chips in the chop arena and mega dust storms caused by the RACQ LifeFlight chopper, we still managed to produce some stunning content to show off everything the 140th show had on offer.
We sure as hell made some serious ground, averaging at least 18,000 steps a day. It is safe to say by the end of the first week we were all officially dead. But what a pleasure it was! Want to check out all 160 photos from this years show? Click Here to be taken to the Flickr album of Ekka Goodness.
